We had quite a few of those over the summer back in '08 when I worked at the ABC affiliate in Evansville, IN. Sad but true. People can be extremely selfish sometimes, especially when severe weather is in the western parts of the viewing area and the sun's out in the eastern part (and the Plains have some BIG viewing areas, sometimes stretching over half a state.) And even squeezes will get people mad, too, because it shuts off the 1080p HD which "they pay Comcast $10 a month extra of MY money to get."
On the flipside, these same people would b
h and moan if we wouldn't pre-empt
Desperate Housewives because a tornado is 3 miles away.
