Oil Trading around $83 (if the price held for around a month) = $2.73 a gallon

$80 = $2.63 a gallon

$75 = $2.46 a gallon

$70 = $2.30 a gallon

Notes:

It takes 3-6 months for crude oil to make its way through the refining process and make it into gasoline that you buy at the pump. Due to this delay, you may not see an immediate jump in pump prices.

This assumes that there are no disruptions in refinery capacity. If a refinery is disrupted, as happened during Hurricane Katrina, then you should expect the price you pay at filling stations to increase beyond the estimates here. Similarly, if taxes change, that will be reflected in the fuel price.

The pump price will also vary depending on your geography.

$3.69 is a pretty popular price here, but I have seen a few at $3.99.   :blink:

Gas has dropped to $3.16 per gallon here.  Based on what I've seen in the market, I may see $3 gas again in another week or two. :o

$3.18 here in Seffner.. cheapest around Tampa Bay is $3.14 in the city and most expensive is $3.69 in St. Petersburg

$2.94 - $3.30 in my area (cheapest in New Orleans and goes higher as you get further from the city).

Raceway Oil at East Brunswick is charging $3.17..the lowest I've seen here so far.

Well, I was wrong about my prediction as it only got down to $3.15 at the lowest point.  It jumped to $3.23 today.
