My card is always used by my system. I got this system in November 2010.

Yes, it could be your card is overused and may be overheating a bit. Although I still doubt a graphics card problem in this situation.

Long Island, August-September 2012 tornadoes, Hurricane Sandy, Blizzard of 2013, how many places on Earth do you know can get all 3 of those events within a 6 month period?

Well something that I also notice is that when I play certain games, it runs very smooth with 60+ Frame rates, but when I play on lower settings it gets lower frame rates. My HDD has 60% of it empty.

That's strange, usually lower settings mean a faster FPS. :dunno:

Yeah, it is strange. I'm not sure why that is. I thought maybe that bit of info could show something, but at this point I'm not sure what to think.

If you could benchmark those games and see the difference between the FPS on low settings and high settings, that would help.

I'll Just tell you.

I had ~30FPS on Low Settings and 60 On high. I may have had the FPS lock on, but I usually don't.

Well, judging from that, your graphics card doesn't seem to be having any problems. Microsoft Powerpoint can sometimes be jittery on any computer. Are sure this is a noticeable difference on your computer from before?

Yes, This has only happened once before and I'm pretty sure I didn't do anything to fix it that time.

First, have you called tech support from the provider of your computer?  Also, is your computer under warranty?  It would be a lot easier to make a change if you're covered.

No, I have not. It is under warranty for 3 more years and I'm pretty sure they won't do anything about it.

You're kidding.  When my hard drive failed on an older Dell laptop years ago, they replaced it for me at no charge and helped me through the installation process over the phone.  You ought to at least try to use your warranty if you have it.
