A couple more classic posts at TWCC, both by Lightning. First he calls the layoffs "firings". Their layoffs, doofus. There's a huge difference.  :nono:

Then he wants to know if TWC can leave NBC, and hopes there are lawsuits. LOL. The layoffs would've happened with or without NBC's involvement. Another one of those things I just can't say enough.

Dave Schwartz made the weather fun. TWC's loose studio humor over the years are one of the things I think viewers turned on to and kept them watching. Hope that doesn't get the axe too. Probably not but you never know.

I have another clip to contribute too for TWCT, the one I am contributing will be a better clip because it showed some humor and funny movements Dave did while presenting the weather for the Northeast :P He also mis pronounced several cities lol.

MAJOR UPDATE: I've just spoken to my source who tells me that he spoke with Mike Seidel who told him that those who were laid off will remain until November 30.

Interesting. I'm guessing TWC is doing this to get past the Thanksgiving holiday. Either that, or some of their contracts end that day, allowing for some of them to be considered "not renewed" instead of "laid off".

The loss of Dave is really crappy, I like d him, he's been there a long time you'd think they'd keep him, Dennis Smith has been there since the start, I'd hate to see him go as well.

Honestly I hate these corporate boneheads who make these decisions, :censored: so does anyone think TWC will ask for a government bailout?  :bleh:
