The problem happened on the national feed as well. I have to wonder if it's related to the problem with the HD LF that I reported on the Tech Support board on TWCC; I would imagine that such a problem might originate in Network Control; I would think that the HD Satellite LF would originate the same way that the SD one does.
Network control has nothing to do with video.
I thought you said that's where the satellite LF usually comes from; or does that come from master?

Network Control control's cueing of all STARS and internal components such as the satellite LF, the actual video of the satellite LF would originate from Master Control, while the all commands to show / don't show the LF are from NC. The satellite LF is controlled by I believe GPI triggers, while the STAR's are cued via VBI lines.

Why do you think so? Were Kim and Kevin both supposed to be there for the HD debut? I saw Dave filling in on Saturday.

Unfortunately, I guess the Wikipedia dates were wrong. :( Does anyone know where we might be able to get some accurate dates?

According to Zap2it.com, Day Planner will be in HD starting August 4th.

and it looks like Weekend Now will be in HD on August 9th and Weekday Weather Center will be in HD August 11th.

Figures; that's only one week before I head off to college.

Since Mike and Kristina are anchoring WC today, I wonder if Vivian and Nick are rehearsing for HD right now. Nick obviously needs work.

The only way is to probably do the method NYwxguy is doing; looking at TV guides.

Mike Bettes recommends you check your local car dealer. (Blooper from first A&B with HD elements). :P

Today, they've decided to switch things up a little and put Kevin Robinson on FO instead of Kim. I guess he's all ready for HD as well, so why can't we just do Weekend Now in HD already?!? *gets impatient*

My guess is that we'll see all three afternoon/evening weekend shows go HD at the same time, maybe as early as this coming Saturday.

Just popped into my head. The Mike Seidel/Kristina Abernathy pairing that we say yesterday on Day Planner/Weather Center might have to do with the fact that Nick and Vivian were rehearsing in the HD studio. We might see Day Planner or Weather Center go HD next week.

I think you are correct, Billy. NYwxguy has posted some dates for the HD launch of Day Planner, Weather Center, and Weekend Now.
