They're REALLY hamming it up in 2008. I gave TWC one chance, and they blew it after only a few weeks. I wonder if they'll get to Storm Alert Fest by EE. I am so mad at TWC right now. They are sensationalising THREE days before expected landfall for a storm that is supposed to impact only 10 square miles of American land. I wonder what is so big about this storm. It's like Hurricane Dean from only 11 months ago all over again.

Yeah let's go in full storm alert because a very-weak Tropical Storm Ernesto hits Florida.

Wait, they played storm alert music on the LF?!?!

Did I confuse you, Victor?  :dunno: Sorry.

I was wondering if someone could possibly record the storm alert bumper music. I think I may have heard it, but it sounded like the same music played for the tropical update. Is it?

We're referring to the same music used in 2006 during the Storm Alert LFs. They used both tracks today when going to break.

They can't seem to make up their mind on what title they want under the inset map. It was originally "TROP. STORM DOLLY" then during Evening Edition they changed it to "T.S. DOLLY" and now it's back to "TROP. STORM DOLLY."

Dolly is expected to be a major flooding issue for South Texas, so in this case it would actually make sense for them to go Storm Alert.

Whoops.  In that case then:

Guy 1:  "Looks like a flooding event.  Maybe we should do our storm alert status?"
Guy 2:  "Nah.  They can deal with flooding."

(Not the flooding.  Them not doing Storm Alert.)

So far, Dolly is still only projected to strike southern Texas.
