The HD feed on DirecTV is on the fritz right now. For about the last five minutes, it has constantly been cutting in and out; right now, I'm staring at a black screen, and the channel won't even attempt to load. All of the other channels, including TWC SD, are fine right now.

EDIT: Now it just came back for like two seconds, froze, and went black again.

This video's gone again, and the audio sounds garbled every few seconds.

Are you sure? It looked like Sam was at the video wall, just they had the camera zoomed in way too far.

You're right; they had it zoomed in so far that you couldn't even see the wall's borders on the HD feed. That looked horrible in SD!

Oh, on another note, it looks like there's more than one station ID now; they used a different lake scene this morning.

I'll have to look for that one. BTW, I thought of this last night: If we're now seeing HD station IDs, then that means the HD STAR could be right around the corner. Since HD satellite viewers currently don't use a STAR, the only ones that could take advantage of an HD station ID would be those with cable and an HD STAR.

For the first time since the relaunch, "It's time to check in with Mike Bettes to find out what's coming up next on Abrams & Bettes"

The PME 3-person shot is really cool. Yes, it's recorded...video later.

I don't know, this may have been mentioned before.  But, It seems that some OCM's use the tv monitor on the sides of the video wall to point, instead of straight at the video wall.  I find it interesting.  I think it'd probably be best if they did look at the camera monitors, just because some of the pointing is way off scale haha.

They just now played the old stream station ID. That's not HD is it? I wouldn't think it would be; it's at least two plus years old now.

There problaly isnt too high of a viewing angle on those screens, so maybe thats why.

It actually is now. ^_^

By the way, the feed just went out again like last night, this time with violent flickering of the image until it finally went black. The SD channel is fine, though.

EDIT: It just came back now; prior to that, even the audio took a dive again; only every tenth or so word could be heard, and even that was garbled. Judging by the behavior of my satellite receiver, I'd say it's a DirecTV issue rather than a TWC issue.

Why is it that sometimes during the Weekly Planner, they use the "rounded" maps, but other times they use the more "traditional" types of maps?
