Why would the playlists (or Weatherscan for that matter) change?

You know what I just thought of? Since in the new HD studio they will be using projection systems and not chroma key walls, the OCMs will now actually be able to wear green.

I thought I did read somewhere that they'll still have a key wall in there and that "viewers won't be able to tell the difference" between the usage of the key wall and the projectors.

This is true, however the chroma will only be used if the projectors fail. The key walls will be off set anyways, hence only used in the worst of times.

Tonight at the end of Evening Edition, Paul and Alexandra were talking about the new HD studio and how they're now starting rehearsals in the new studio.

You know, I wonder if the weekend edition will be HD at first or if they'll wait a little while. I also wonder when EEWC will go HD, and today I thought up an unrealistic skit that would be cool to see before the show on the day that EEWC goes HD:

(Rich and Sharon sitting at the studio 1A desk)

Sharon: Ya know, Rich, we've been doing this show together now for over a year and a half, but something feels like it's missing these days. There's just something missing...

Rich: Ya, I kinda get that sense...

Sharon: You know what I think it is?

Rich: What's that?

Sharon: We need to go HD.

Rich: I don't know... I'd kinda miss this old studio...

Sharon: Trust me; that's what we need.

Rich: Well, okay; let's head on over to the HD studio and check it out.

(Rich and Sharon get up and walk out of studio 1A; cut to them entering the HD studio, peripheral lights lit only)

Sharon: So, what do ya think?

Rich: Wow... (in awe) This place is amazing.

Sharon (smiling): So, should we do The Weather Channel Evening Edition?

Rich: Yeah, (dramatic turn toward camera) Let's do that.

(camera pans to a broad view of the studio; all lights turn on; EE opener begins playing on a nearby monitor)

You know, the new HD commercial is eerily similar to another commercial I've seen before on a certain network that forecasts weather...

Why would the playlists (or Weatherscan for that matter) change? 

by maybe adding some new music not constant repeating every 30 mins and making the scan's playlist month by month like on the STARS? or maybe adding on more trammell starks music? also Weatherscan might be getting the HD look soon i hope

In addition to the new TWC HD promos Monday, today they unveiled a new TWC HD Local On The 8s opener.

I have it on high authority that nothing is going to happen to Weatherscan until the network is bought out. Makes sense. Why change the channel around, when for all they know, Wxscn could be gone after the sale.

What's going to happen to the old building when they move to the HD building? Will the old building still be used as a backup, or will it be sold?
