Some HD Updates:

PM Edition Weekend will be in HD on August 16th and Weekend Outlook and Weekend Weather Center will both be in HD on August 23rd.

If everything goes according to plans, then next Sunday's Weekend Weather Center will be the final broadcast from the old studio.

Why have Weather Center go HD a week after PME Weekend? The hosts that anchor WC host PME too, so they should both go HD the same time. :huh:

Apparently master controlled Day Planner is still in SD. If Weather Center is supposed to go in HD today, wouldn't they put master controlled Day Planner in HD too? :huh:

So, is Weather Center still in the old studio? They did air ICHT/FFN today. Seeing how it started last Wednesday, I'd assume WC would go HD this Wed.

Yup, and Nick actually said that all dayparts are now HD, so it appears that all shows will now be HD.

I'm going to miss this old studio. I still don't really like the new HD studio. I mean, it's nice and modern and all and I like the backdrops, but it's a little too "high tech," and the video wall is really hard to see.

What's wrong with being high-tech? :dunno:

Also, it is a bit hard to see in SD,  but, in HD, it looks amazing. TWC needs to prepare for the future. We aren't gonna be in SD forever, ya know. I think their set is one of the nicest news-oriented sets on TV to date. :biggrin:
