Just as long as the main studio isn't 6, we have absolutely nothing to worry about.   :shades:

Do we know if the real Titan HD can not be twirled and tilted like Skytracker could be?

(This comes after seeing too many maps turned and twisted the last couple of days.)
Jim Cantore just answered that question. Yes!

It makes sence that there is 9.  Didn't some article, somewhere mention that there were 11 different sets (..well, depends on the difference of what they are calling a "set" and a "studio"  :hmm: )

Anyone else notice that Weekend Outlook and Weekend View have the same theme? Here's the WO opener:
and the Weekend View teaser:

It also seems that Weekend Now has that same theme as well.

A couple of things that are bugging me regarding the HD launch. It appears as if the L3RDS have trouble animating in. Anyone else noticed that? Also, it's sure as hell taking awhile for me to get used to the idea of  using giant screens rather than chromakey walls. IMO, the screens (or maps, either/or) are always off-center, esp. during EEWC. Either it's my SD TV, or the camera operator is not doing too well.  IMO, everything else in that studio is BEAUTIFUL BEYOND WORDS!! I cannot wait until the entire channel broadcasts from that studio one day. I don't know about you guys, but I am getting SO SICK of Studio 1A, I am about to scream! Maybe it's just my OCD'ness, but the mis-matching backdrops is also bugging the heck out of me! :P  The new graphics to EACH and every show are beautiful, however just like in the recent past, I do not feel as if they are using the new graphics to their full potential. Same thing with music, IMO. TWC still has a terrible addiction to the overusage of production library music, making the new show music broadcast a rarity. The new music of this era is alright, but I feel as if it is very repetitive, kind of like the 03-05 music...don't you guys see a similarity? (Repetition, similar musical signatures, etc.)  I think that the new OCM pairings are great as well, but I wish that they would fix up the non-alignment in the new HD studio as far as the map screens are concerned. Once that problem is fixed, everything will look fantastic.  :sunglasses:

I was just watching the end of yesterday morning's FO, and to paraphrase Jen...

"We've been over [in the HD studio] rehearsing, so you should see us in HD pretty soon."

Interesting, I would assume FO rehearsals means that they're within 2-3 weeks of going HD, and I wouldn't be surprised if they go HD even before Weekend View; perhaps it could be as early as Monday.
I wonder if we could see FO in the HD studio tomorrow morning.

Jae, I agree with the whole TV screen thing.  I'd prefer the key wall over that

Same here. It's really hard for me to see some of the text on the video wall.

Also, as you said Jae, they need to stop with the production music and on the fly openers and use the music and graphics that came with the actual show package. I was hoping they'd stop doing this on the June 2 relaunch, but I was wrong.

I've noticed that they seem to actually be using the on the fly openers even more now than they have before.

Even worse, they seem to have only one blue on-the-fly opener for every show now. It would be better if they'd at least make several of them that match each of the show's graphics, kind of like the on the fly openers Evening Edition had up until early 2007.

Last night, they even used an on-the-fly opener with the sound effect that they used to use with the 07-08 ones. that brings back bad memories... >_<

So now we know where Samantha Mohr and Betty Davis are tonight: they're rehearsing in the HD studio for PM Edition's HD premiere next Monday.
