Bids for TWC due next week

According to Reuters, preliminary bids for The Weather Channel are due next week. Article:

Interested parties include NBC, CBS, Time Warner, and Comcast. Looks like we'll be seeing pretty soon just who is and isn't interested enough to pay $5 billion.

Out of all the companies listed in that article, Time Warner would probably be the best bidder IMO.

Well the first round of bids were in on Monday. No word yet though on where things stand.

On a related note, I just read an article that suggested that CBS might be the most interested of the bidders. Take a look:
