Title: Bids for TWC due next week
Post by: lfmusiclover on March 04, 2008, 01:32:27 PM: According to Reuters, preliminary bids for The Weather Channel are due next week. Article:

Interested parties include NBC, CBS, Time Warner, and Comcast. Looks like we'll be seeing pretty soon just who is and isn't interested enough to pay $5 billion.

Neither do I. They would probably drastically change TWC, probably for the worst.

On a related note, I just read an article that suggested that CBS might be the most interested of the bidders. Take a look:
