Hm, this is interesting! Looks like the icon update to the New Kensington Comcast Weatherscan became corrupt, as not all the icons updated!

What I think it means is that because the new icon set apparently has no distinction between showers and rain, that nothing new was mapped to these icons, whereas for everything else, the new versions replaced the old.

I thought that too, but the icons display correctly on the domestic New Ken IntelliStar

I'm surprised they wouldn't animate on HD. <_<

Anyway, from looking at LAT48s videos, the new icons look MUCH better on the IS. :biggrin:

My reactions to the new icons are mixed.  I liked the animated clouds a lot, but the sun definitely needs more contrast to prevent it from looking like a certain snack. :P  I could distinguish between rain and snow alright in HD, but I think they could have made the snowflakes a little bigger to make it easier to discern the two precipitation types.  The lightning should stand out a little more in the thunderstorm icons like it did in the previous set.  Overall, there are some improvements in clarity here compared to the last icon set, but I think they could have used a little more contrast to make them even better.
