For whatever reason, the audio went silent for SD viewers in the middle of the 4:28 PM EST local forecast... and following the LF, 5 minutes of black. It took another minute for the blue LDL to come back on. After this, nothing else happened. Strangely, the HD feed was fine. I wonder if this could be related in any way...

I watched the 4:28 PM ET LF, and everything was alright for me. It's possible that your headend lost the TWC SD feed for a few minutes there.

I think I found the new icons. I REALLY hope these are weather.com versions.

Yep looks like new icons to me. Look at that sun one. Its just horrible. Precip ones aren't that bad.

Wow, I LOVE those graphics! Now if only they made the intellistar like that...

I noticed Philly is still using the older graphics, hopefully they will change.

Also, what happened to the Bluebox player? Everything is so unorganized now.

Those icons do look more defined, they should not only update it on their website, but also on the IntelliStar. I also agree with what you said about the sun icons, they do look odd. I think they have too much shadow around them and they just looks like glowing circles.

Are these new icons/graphics only for weather.com video forecasts? :dunno: Or will they be used on-air? :thinking:

Yeah, I'm not to crazy about the new sun icon. :no: TWC shouldn't be going downhill with the icons (although, they're probably made to look like most news channel ones).

Actually I like the simplicity, and think one of the reasons the current set sucked is because they were too detailed and looked horrible when scaled down. That is another reason the classic icons were so good. The new ones look like they'll scale better.

Only problem I thought the icons had were the mix precip ones
