They didn't hire him; they just transferred him from the defunct WeatherPlus.

It's going to be on during the timeslot before Your Weather Today, so I don't foresee anything happening to YWT. First Outlook, on the other hand, will be the show that takes a hit from this.

Al Roker just did a live segment from the Kentucky Derby on TWC at :37, and it ran until :39. I guess TWC has to preempt everything just for Al.
