I actually like how they play the bumper music over the opener...it gives us a chance to capture all of the bumper without voice over. I love the new PME theme...it's awesome, if anyone has captured anything worthwhile, I would love to hear it. It seems to me as if the PME theme is just one track chopped up into different segments.

I like the PME theme, but it doesn't seem to have much depth besides the starting portion followed by the same part repeating over and over again. Is there more to it that I haven't heard?

BTW, I don't mind the bumper music playing over the openers; it's the production music playing over the openers that I absolutely hate.

Having the voice overs make it unenjoyable

Ol' Jimmy is back tonight for EE, and apparently it *is* just going to be him and Paul doing the show for the foreseeable future.

I agree. And to me, It appears as if the PME theme is probably a one, one1/2 or 2 min cut that is divided up into different segments. I am still looking to gather clips to try to piece the entire theme together.

Kevin Robinson just gave us news from the "Weather Department of The Weather Channel". What, is that separate from the main part of TWC, the climate hype department?

He's probably referring to either the forecast center or the Forecast Earth desk.

I'm just making a sarcastic comment there. :P

Anyway, Weather Center is back to three hours today, and it's back at the little desk. I wonder if this was prompted by the severe weather in the forecast or if it was a planned change.

Adam Berg is in for Vivian Brown today on Weather Center!

I wonder if the afternoon long-form block is gone for good? Maybe they were using it to train Ryan Goswick and Warren Madden in the HD studio, and now that they have both finally made their HD debuts, the long-form block is no longer needed.

The long-form block wasn't needed in the first place. They could've trained the OCM's at another time.

Nope. It will return today (according to the commercials).  :furious:
