Did you capture what you saw? The opener at the top of the 5 PM CT hour was normal.

Looks like we have new graphics for the Health lifestyles segment. The lower thirds are now smaller and look similar to the 2003-2005 lower thirds. The graphics that show the safety tips use an orange and blue gradient. The opener was also modified and uses Evening Edition's graphics. I wonder if there are other versions too for the other shows (that have the lifestyles segment).

No, that was by accident. For some reason on Weekend Now (and I've noticed this on PM Edition lately as well) they don't play the opener music very often, and instead, just continue the music they used for the teaser over the opener.

They've also been doing this a lot on First Outlook lately (including Mon-Wed this week) and over half the time on Weekend View. It's pretty sloppy doing things this way, IMO.
