We don't know for sure yet if WWCH will be returning to the weekday schedule yet, since right now they are just saying the season will premiere sometime in October. It is likely, though.

Saw a new top-of-the-hour bumper at 5 PM ET. It was a beach with big waves rolling in and blowing palm trees.

Sounds like something that should've been introduced at the beginning of summer, not days from the first day of fall.

I think it's supposed to be hurricane-themed; IIRC, the skies are kinda dark.

BTW, the PME lighting scheme still has the light blue horizontal bars on the left side of the studio while the rest of the studio is using the dark blue EE colors. I hate how much Storm Alert has f'ed up the studio's colors. :(

Is TWC intentionally doing this, or are they just having problems with setting the lighting cues?

My guess is that they're programmed into schemes somewhere, and after Storm Alert, someone set all of the schemes wrong. I wish someone would step in there and get things right; we shouldn't have EE colors during WC and PME, and the desk shouldn't be yellow during Weekend Weather Center. The only show that actually benefited from this was Weekend Outlook, which is now actually using the CORRECT colors; they were using mostly EE colors before these last two Storm Alerts.

By the end of PME, they changed the color of the remaining horizontal bars to morning blue, which is better, but they're supposed to be white! >_<

IMO, light blue is better for PME, since it is more of an evening show (when the skies darken), not a daytime show. Day Planner on the other hand should be white, not light blue. Same with Weekend Now.

Okay, now the left wall is white, the right wall is light blue, and the wall connecting the left wall to the projector wall is dark blue. It looks like crap.

Yeah, that's what it would seem...and there is a new LOT8s opener to accompany the bumper.

Well, at least it looks like they're trying to fix it, rather than just leaving the way things are like what they did last year with YWT.

Stephanie Abrams is wearing a matching outfit today. I don't think I've ever seen her wearing matching clothes :o

Yeah, that's quite odd. I guess Adam wasn't spending his Monday sleeping in, eh, gang? :P

edit: I guess they gave Paul and Alex off tonight because they had to work overtime this past weekend...?

Freakin' awesome! Finally the gang leader gets his shot at weekday EE after all these years. You know, I actually considered this situation over the weekend.  :whistling:
