Now for the 5 AM CT hour, they've switched back to the original music, but they stopped it during the opener and then started it over again.

Kevin seems to be under the weather today. His voice is a bit more raspy than it usually is.

Now at the bottom of the hour on WC, they suddenly reverted back to the original HD pillar bars from the first day that they used them; I wonder why...

Now going to break, they played the WC bumper for about a second, stopped it, and switched to the DP bumper.

Today they're using yet another different FO opener theme; this one sounds completely new.

I didn't know where to put this, but I thought this thread was best from what I see.

Think the best way to judge that temperature display adjustment is seeing it on TWC HD.  It's not quite clear to see on the SD feed and I have an HD set with the SD feed.

I have a feeling that the tabs that house the time and temperature should be adjusted, too (the length of the tabs, not the height). That way, they will be centered and not too squeezed on the blue bar. It might be a problem for temperatures above the century mark. I doubt the TWC logo position would ever be moved because of how a ton of live graphics pages and the blue bar have them aligned.

By the way, it the font type the same?

Question: When did TWC start calling Evening Edition West Coast just Evening Edition, and why did they do this?

I'm think they started doing that shortly after Hillary left in 2006.

I see they're using the same Independence Day opener as last year, including the old four-note chime.

Now after only three days in HD, Sam has taken off, and it's a Weekend Weather Center reunion yet again with Betty and Kristin!

So where did Samantha go?

But from the looks of it, I don't know if Betty and Samantha really got along. Maybe they did; I don't know. I really liked the PME with Betty and Adam.

They might want to distribute the fill-ins evenly. Adam comes in for a few days, Kristin fills in on other days.

I much prefer the Betty and Adam pairing. They work well together.

Indeed. They always seem to work "best" when their paired up.
