At 3:30 PM ET, Dave called the show "Day Planner" instead of "Weather Center."

Dave said Betty Davis will anchor starting at 4PM. Storm Stories wasn't preempted, so why are they showing the PME hosts starting at 4?

Because it's a solo schedule. ;) It won't always be a PME OCM, though.

Dave is better with a co-anchor.  Him and Viv work really well together.  I watched a whole hour of them without changing the channel yesterday. :D

I liked the 1999-2001 Storm Watch opener.  It always reminded me of my fear of weather way back when.

I also really liked that one, probably because I used to think lighthouses were so neat.

Edit so I don't double post: Kelly Cass is now hosting the 5 PM ET hour of PM Edition.

Dave was actually on the ball today, more than he was Wednesday and Thursday with Vivian. I only got to see the 2 PM CT hour of Weather Center, but the whole thing was very entertaining yet informative at the same time - Dave at his best. He's worked well with Vivian in the past, but he seemed a little dull with her this week. I wonder if he was feeling all right.

As for Dave saying "Day Planner," he was reading off the prompter. When Betty went to read it the next hour, She tripped over that part of the script when it came up on the prompter but corrected the show title herself. That's surprising coming from the person who once called herself Adam Berg because the prompter said so. :P

That must've been an awkward moment "Thanks for joining us, I'm Adam Berg....errr, Vivian Brown".  :rofl2: :rofl2:

It was Betty that did that, not Vivian.

I happened to catch PM Edition before I took a nap this afternoon, and from what I saw, it looks like full control has fixed the issue with the lower thirds being displayed too far down on the screen after all this time.

BTW, I'm a little bit bummed out that my recording of Dave today got corrupted by my DVD recorder. I'm trying to use whatever recovery software I can, but I'm not making too much progress. (using ISOBuster right now)

They actually dismissed Ray Stagich after the first half hour of WO today. For as long as I can remember dating back to last fall, Ray has always worked the entire show on Saturday. They must have plenty of OCMs available today. (Alex Wallace and Eboni Deon are doing the main two hours of WO today.)

I recorded some clips of Dave yesterday. I'll share them when I get the chance.

Weekend Weather Center is still using the Weekend Now backdrop. It also appears to be master controlled, which is odd. (it's normally full controlled on weekends)
