I kinda miss the sharper and vivid colors that debuted when the HD studio came online. Everything is starting to look bland and mushy. It looks nice but not much variety

Didn't waste any time getting a replacement for Dr. Knabb. Greg Postel will be his replacement starting tomorrow.

EDIT: Also I like that they're giving us updates every hour on the hurricane hunters during their recon missions, I think that's cool.

EDIT #2: Oh yeah Julie and Heather mentioned Adam Berg recently just had a baby when talking about that Snowtober Baby Boom story.

Was watching a NASA Watch Party forecast for Times Square on TWC at around 8:55AM PT and the forecast for one time (the time escapes me at the moment) tonight said 66º with rain and snow!  :rofl2:


Did anyone else catch that?

Stephanie is still in Atlanta working alongside with Mike, I'm assuming until the Summer Olympics come to a close. Maybe it's me, but isn't it a little odd Steph wasn't with Al in London? I mean haven't they done the show in locations outside NYC together before? :dunno:

EDIT: Looks like she'll in Atlanta all this week and return to NYC Fri/Sat to make her move permanent and apparently WUWA is getting a new studio next week.

I knew it they're getting a new studio! I hope that it is bigger. The Today Show is also getting a new Studio after the Olympics.

Right now on NBC, they're showing Jim Cantore giving a brief weather forecast in London's "Little Venice". He's on top of a boat in a canal and saying that there's just a slight chance of showers in the evening.
