It appears Day Planner has been extended to 7pm due to severe weather.
Carl and Todd were on 11am-3pm and Nick and Danielle should be on 3pm-7pm.

Weather Center Live has been extended until 11PM ET. Looks like no long-form tonight for east coast viewers.

Checked out the .com forecast for Tampa, and they must have read our complaints on the new format.. because the major metropolitan areas have the metro maps back :bleh:

It's interesting how there are two station IDs being used. One is the one with the pier, and the other shows a barn in a snowy field. I'm not sure if they've been used in the past.

They started doing multiple backgrounds again with the Fall IDs.

Yes they have, the third they use where the guy is running through a snowy park was used back in 2009. I think the others were too and used last year and in 2008.

It actually originates from 2008.

One of the ones that I miss seeing is the one with the bird flying around with the skyline in the background.

Pittsburgh had a metro forecast from the day they launched the new maps. They just don't use them in every forecast. I really don't like how the only feature now is the weekend forecast.

That's definetely nice (they've added the metro map back for Dallas as well).  I still wish they would bring a daypart forecast back, though.
