Explanation for the signal troubles from page 372? That satellite problem with AMC-11 and Galaxy 15.

http://www.multichannel.com/article/452747-SES_To_Move_AMC_11_Away_From_Intelsat_s_Zombie_Satellite.php?rssid=20059&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+MultichannelBreakingNews+%28Multichannel+News+-+Breaking+News%29

But don't worry, it's getting fixed. Some other major basic cable nets are on AMC-11 too.

If you type in the domain noaa.org it still comes up as noaa.gov so it's not necessarily wrong I guess.

I can agree/disagree with that statement in ways. It may have been a typo that a producer at TWC made, but ever since NBC took over TWC, their form of production sure has changed massively.

I'm pretty sure it's the fact that NBC laid off all the good control workers and hired inexperienced, lazy control room workers and programming directors that don't know the definition of "theme music," or better yet, The Weather Channel.

I would say it's not NBC's fault.  It is the producer's, or whoever created the graphic, fault.  For example, say you're local TV station has a typo on one of their graphics.  Who do you blame, the person who created it, or the company that owns the station?

You guys can't keep putting the blame on NBC when something goes wrong on The Weather Channel.  :hmm:

And to add.. it really wasn't ALL that big of a deal.  I know I would not have noticed..

Well said. It's not like NBC is trucking their workers down to Atlanta to run the control rooms and mess things up. It's a simple mistake that anyone could have made.
