I'm thankful that the long-form is pre-empted at all. Why is Kevin Robinson reporting long before his shift? Unless you want Todd Santos to be on the air for as much as 9 hours, I don't think that's a good idea.

OCMs arrive at TWC a few hours before their actual shift starts. Also, lately they've had Kevin Robinson reporting during PME for breaking weather stories.

That's actually pretty long to me, I thought OCM's usually arrive about three hours before their show starts.

I didn't realize they arrive that early. :blink: Do they do anything else other than preparing for their shifts at that time? :unsure:

I agree.  That had very well rounded covereage, and I enjoyed it. :yes:  I disagree with those who think they are sensationalizing the story..

The afternoon long-form block was preempted on April 10, 2009 due to a severe weather/tornado outbreak in the southeast.
