... Record high temperature set at Evansville in as well as all-time
hottest day in June...

A record high temperature of 106 degrees was set at Evansville in
today. This shatters the old record of 102 set on this date in 1936.

This also breaks the all-time hottest day in June. The previous
occurrence of 104 degrees occurred over a half a century ago... on
June 26th 1954.

I'm trying to remember what the winter of `88-`89 was like, but I really can't.  I remember having a blizzard in January of `89, but that was Lake Effect.  Friends of ours in Illinois (<5 miles west) got NOTHING that night.

Here's a picture I took the following morning (A SNOW DAY!  :dance:)
