Like my thread at TWC Classics, I will post conditions and forecasts for my area in this thread.

Wild weather in my area tonight.

First, around 7:30ish, we got hit with a thunderstorm, which had vivid lighting, some strong winds and (much needed) heavy rain. :) Then, a tornado warning was issue for the extreme southwestern portion of Escambia County (my county), due to a tornado being reported by the public. This tornado warning is still in effect until 9 PM CT.

IF YOU ARE CAUGHT OUTSIDE...SEEK SHELTER IN A NEARBY REINFORCED
BUILDING. AS A LAST RESORT...SEEK SHELTER IN A CULVERT...DITCH OR LOW

Thats pretty minor stuff, at least around here it is. Did you see a tornado? that would've been cool.

Yeah, we did. We didn't get hit by the storm that produced the tornado, but the first storm that developed went through us, and the winds were pretty sporty, although it wasn't too strong. We got some much needed rain, though. B)

Yesterday evening we picked up over an inch of rain! :dance: And today, from another storm that hit here, we picked up about a half an inch. It's not much, but I'll take it. :yes:

At 3 am this morning, we got hit by a thunderstorm, and it was raining pretty hard for about 10-15 minutes. According to both of my rain gauges, we got exactly an inch of rain, which is great. :D

Last night, we got a pretty big storm, and we picked up 2 inches of rain from it! :blink: It started raining at 1 am, and it stopped sometime after 5am (with breaks in between, though). I actually went to bed at about 1 am, but the storm woke my up an hour later due to the loud thunder. <_< I finally got back to sleep sometime after 5 am.

We need more of these storms (though I'd rather have it during the day, than while I'm sleeping).

Also last night, we set a record low. It went down to 69, breaking the record of 70. The funny thing is, my IntelliSTAR displayed the record temperature screen, and it had the ice background on it. I don't think 69 is THAT cold. :P

In Florida, in the middle of July? That's like a cold spell.  :D
