I'm staying in Columbus for the weekend. It was raining hard today.

The NWS issued two special weather statements

Quote
Issued by The National Weather Service
Cincinnati/Wilmington, OH
5:49 pm EST, Thu., Nov. 25, 2010

... LIGHT SNOW AND SLICK SPOTS POSSIBLE EARLY FRIDAY MORNING...

A COLD FRONT WILL SWING THROUGH THE REGION TONIGHT. BEHIND THE FRONT... COLD AIR WILL RUSH IN AND WILL CHANGE ANY LINGERING RAIN SHOWERS TO SNOW. LESS THAN AN INCH OF SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED.

TEMPERATURES WILL DROP INTO THE 20S AND LOWER 30S BY MORNING. LINGERING MOISTURE ON THE ROADWAYS AND SIDEWALKS FROM THE RAIN OR SNOW MAY FREEZE AS THIS COLDER AIR MOVES INTO THE REGION. THIS MAY CAUSE SLICK SPOTS ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES. TRAVELERS SHOULD USE EXTRA CAUTION FRIDAY MORNING... AND SLOW DOWN IF ICY SPOTS ARE PRESENT ON THE ROADWAYS.

TEMPERATURES WILL WARM ABOVE FREEZING BY AFTERNOON ELIMINATING ANY SLICK SPOTS.
