As reported on Broadband reports, Verizon is expected to add 26 new HD channels by the end of July:

Here's some official confirmation TWC|HD is coming to FiOS! The new channel lineups for Portland (OR) and Fort Wayne (IN) show TWC|HD on channel 619! It comes to Ft. Wayne on 6/30 and Portland on 7/21.

Also, it's worth noting SD-TWC moves from channel 99 to channel 119.

I'm excited, and can't wait for a Pittsburgh announcement!

Looks like there's now an official date as to when the new channels, including TWC|HD, and huge channel reassignments (including TWC moving to a 3-digit channel number!) are coming to the Pittsburgh Metro area... 8/6/08.

Just to clarify, are all these changes you listed occuring nationwide, or just the "local plus channels?"

They're occurring nationwide. I was listing the LocalPlus as examples... but, all markets are changing on different dates. From vicious rumors I read earlier, looks like Philadelphia may be one of the last markets to get them.

Got my mailing the other day with 3 lineups in it (the amount of FiOS boxes we have). Also, a message announcing the new channels is on WeatherScan, and during every LF on the LDL (do people actually read those?).

Lucky for those FiOS customers in Massachusetts i still wondering when the other cable company would upgrade TWC lHD here  :(
