Recently in my area, they removed the National Geographic Channel (Comcast cable channel 64) off of our basic cable line-up. They still have the channel at lease, but its now a digital-only channel and we only have one digital cable box. They moved it to digital cable channel channel 450 and we would have to pay extra. They even did the same thing to ESPNews.
As for the old channel location for NatGeo, they replaced it with the Big Ten Network.
I rather watch pro sports.
Also, Comcast
still hasn't added both Boomerang and WeatherScan to our channel line-up! I want those two channels so bad! I even tried asking Comcast to add Boomerang and WeatherScan, but they
still haven't responded. I sent a E-Mail to them 10 times already, but still no response!
I'm also upset that Comcast doen't want to air some of my St. Louis Cardinals baseball games that's aired on FSN Midwest. I'm from the midwest and I'm a Cardinals fan. I told about the problem to Comcast and here's what they responded:
Dear customer,
Thank you for contacting Comcast Cable. We apologize for any
inconvenience. We carry about 140 Cardinals games (out of 162) in
Central Illinois, among FSN Midwest, the FOX broadcast network, ESPN,
and local broadcast channels that are part of the Cardinals TV network.
There are another 20 games that FSN Midwest carries that we do not
receive, because FSN Midwest charges extra for these games.
We will forward your feedback and suggestion to our marketing department
for future review.
Thank you for choosing Comcast.
Sincerely,
Demetria

Not only that, but they have only have less than 38 HD channels too. In other words, there's no signs of TWC HD anywhere or any of my other favorite channels that are in HD.
Again, I tired of Comcast! Insight Communications was alot better, but DirecTV still beats cable TV (even for both Insight and Comcast)!
