I'm pretty sure they used 1,000 miles before. Yes, I too love the song. I tried catching Alejandro on the E.L. Intellistar this morning, but no bail.

I happened to be watching Wake Up With Al and around 9:24 CT, Al was being comletely obnoxious.  They were talking about the new weather dot com (they being him and Mike Bettes) and after Mike was done talking, he made a stupid joke saying "Hey Mike, does Jim Cantore say "More flags, More fun?"  He was trying to be like that bald guy on the Six Flags commercials.  It may have been a stupid joke, but he nailed it right on the head :P

June 23rd. For quite a while leading up to that day, they had dumped the original opener and were just opening every show with no opener, just a wideshot of the New York studio and a narration, "This is Wake Up with Al, on The Weather Channel!"

What is it with it saying "Happy Anniversary" on the show this week? Are they celebrating the 1-year anniversary of when this show first debuted? I do recall it making its debut on Monday, July 20, 2009.

This show, along with "The Climate Code" which was later changed to "Forecast Earth" with Heidi Cullen hosting are the absolute worst ever to air on TWC. :hammer:  :angry:

NBCU has destroyed The Weather Channel. :cry: :(

It's better to celebrate one year anniversaries on ONE DAY instead of the whole week. I find it pointless and over-exaggerating to celebrate one stupid birthday all week imo.
