I wounder if the narration on the IntelliSTAR is disabled durring the program? Why put vocal music on TWC anyway?
Nope.  They still use the narration.  I actually do not mind the vocals during the local forecast.  Yesterday I actually watched WUWA, and I heard some songs I havn't heard in years!

The vocals are just like the regular local forecast music, it gets quieter when the narration is taking place.

Yes, I don't mind the vocals either. Just as long as they keep those songs on WUWA and not bring them to the regular playlist.

Yeah, I'm all for vocals as well. I really wish they would make the narration less prominent (reduce it to the narration levels of the XL and not necessarily remove it) though.

We've gone through a lot of themes already for the WUWA playlists.  Anyone have an idea on what next week will feature?

They don't really have "themes" for their playlists anymore. For the past few weeks they've just been playing various vocal tracks.

Thanks, Mike.  I had a feeling that the WUWA playlists were starting to go nowhere.

Ive been a big fan of TWC for many years but ive been holding my breath as of late with AL. Whiles he's a great guy and has years of working in weather. I am just not clicking with him on TWC. I clicked on this morning and they were doing a interview with someone from "the office" and I thought to myself .. what does this have to do with TWC.

I really enjoy shows like abrams and bettes and it was sad when the took them off the evening to morning. Im even more sad about how many great people are gone now. I hope they wake up soon its turning alot of us off, atleast me.

I agree with you. WUWA is simply a way to boost ratings with mediocre content and effort. Since its working, I am sure we wont see much improvement.

Welcome to the forums by the way! Glad to have you here :)

I agree, Miley Cyrus (for example) has nothing to do with TWC. Neither do those celebrity interviews.
