Is it just me, or have they rotated the desk so that they're now doing the show from in front of the PM Edition/Weekend View backdrop?
That's how it was for the whole show; that's what I meant by "facing" the projector wall.
Also, they managed to use a different cut of music for all six openers during the show; only the top of the second hour actually used the normal opener theme. The top of the first hour used a one-story recorded teaser with an opener on both sides. Also, just like the other shows that went HD, the segment openers aren't nearly as elaborate as the pre-HD openers. For example, the Weekly Planner opener no longer has that "Mon-Fri" animation at the start of it. Also, they used production music for two of the Weekly Planner openers and one of the Travel Delays openers today. I hope this isn't going to be the trend. >_<
