Sadly, any OCM who's professional, speaks clearly and with a professional voice and carries him/her self with class is falling by the wayside.
I can't stand the direction they've been going the last few years with women who are silly and yell like Kait Parker and Jennifer Delgado, who acts trampy.
I miss the good old days with professional men and women and not all the bimbos. That's why we watch Weather Nation 90% of the time.

I, too, am very happy to see Jennifer Lopez back on TWC. She was one of the best and I sure do miss the "old" TWC meteorologists. They were knowledgable, professional and classy and some were so funny. I wish they'd bring back more of them and let some of these newbies go.

I've watched TWC since pretty much it's inception. I don't mind some of the news segments in the middle of a program, but it no longer interests me to watch regularly because they DO NOT cover weather anymore.   
I live in Alabama near the tornado ravaged area and we have very severe storms ALOT. They don't even mention it most of the time and when they do, it's so hurried it's unwatchable. It seems like they're going for the glamour girl look and not the weather reporting that put them on the map. 
They let the very good meteorologists go in favor of the babe types and I don't like it, so I don't watch. JMHO

So sad that most of the older, really good OCMs are being let go and in the meantime being treated so poorly.
Mark Mancuso is a good OCM and he should have stayed at TWC. Some of the newer OCMs aren't nearly as good. Youth is not always the best course.
I just hope that Bill Keneely can hold on to his job.

I wholeheartedly agree with everything KMan said.
Mark Mancuso and Bill Keneely were awesome together.
I really miss the old OCMs. Most of the more recent hirings leave me cold.
I also don't get the female OCMs choice of attire. Kelly Cass is the worst. Her clothes are always so tight and pulling at the seams...not professional at all. The women keep trying to go for that sexy look and I don't think their way of dressing is professional at all.

Is that Kevin Costner doing the voiceover for the Weather Channel HD spots and some of the intros to Local on the 8s?

My favorite always was and always will be Jeanetta Jones. I know she wasn't a meteorologist, but she did her job very well.
Next on my list is Paul Goodloe, Warren Madden and Bill Keneely.

I miss Jeanetta and wish her well in whatever she's doing now.

We couldn't even go five minutes tonight on EEWC. At 11:05 PM CT, we heard something along the lines of:

Sharon: Now let's take a look at the West with Rich.
Rich: Yeah, let's do that! Let's look at the West.

On another note, Rich is wearing his "meltdown night" suit tonight. It would be funny if another meltdown happened to occur tonight.

What meltdown? I think I missed something.
