Let's not forget about the other long-timers at TWC, like Mark Mancuso. He might make a decent replacement for Marshall, and his current time slot isn't too popular.

It seems like Mark may be headed down the same road as Marshall. I don't think now would be the point in his career that he'd be promoted to YWT.

I'll miss Marshall. Marshall and Heather were the first pairings i ever saw. I saw them when I was little. Legendary pairing :(

*Carl Parker? Again, a versatile met with experience. The question is, how will he do in the mornings and what is his rapport with Heather?
I could see Carl on YWT. Carl actually worked Weekend View once a few years ago (which is on the same timeslot on weekends as YWT).

I think it will be a Heather, Nicole, and Kim pairing at least until they get a male replacement, and like tpirfan28 said they need some new blood fast. It'll be sad to see him go. :cry3:

I can really only see Jeff Morrow or Nick Walker as the most likely candidates to replace Marshall.

I can't see Carl Parker being "perky" enough for the morning shift, he's too cool and professional. Rich Johnson is much too quirky, and I don't even want to think about breaking him and Sharon up...they're finally back together again, EEWC is worth watching again! And the less said about Kevin Robinson the better.

Alex Wallace anyone?
No way; he's not experienced enough for a high profile job yet.

It's such a shame to see Marshall go so soon; I honestly didn't expect him to go HD and then hang it up less than six months later. Oh well, at least he got to be there for it. As for a replacement, I really think Bill would be the best choice, but then what would you do with Weekend View? Perhaps hire some new talent for that spot?

What about Heather and Cheryl?

Yikes. Cheryl actually said "gullywashers" not once, but twice on Day Planner today. That about says it all.

Wow, I never expected this. Heather and Marshall are one of those things that you think will never be broken up, and then they are. This kind of gives me the same feeling as the last day of summer vacation.

I think that Heather, Nicole, and Eboni will be the new hosts. They've expermented with this many times when Marshall was out for the day/week. I would have said that Jen Carfagno would have been in place of Eboni, but she was recently promoted herself, so she's out of the equation. I like Bill and I think he'd be okay on YWT. But Nick or Carl are other options.

With all the extra time Marshall will have I bet he'll be playing golf a lot more often. Maybe TWC could do a segment with him: something like "Marshall Seese: From the Golf Course." Yeah I know it's stupid but that way we would still get to see him on TWC.

I've been expecting that Marshall would retire soon, seeing how he has been taking a lot of vacations in recent years.

:(  sad news.  I LOVE MARSHALL AND HEATHER!  I'd love to see Carl and Heather pair up for YWT.  Who ever is the replacement, they've gotta be good.  I don't want to see Mancuso on.  Like SR said, this isn't a point in his career where this promotion should happen.

Good luck to Marshall though :D
