Worst TWC Song
« on: December 11, 2009, 06:53:15 PM »
What is the worst song(s) TWC had ever aired? Mine are Wipe out by the Safaris and Lil' Jack Slade by The Dixie Chicks. Both songs were just HUGE joke for putting it on TWC. If I hear them again, then I will *mute the volume or change the channel.*

I chose both Lil Jack Slade and Wipeout. I literally laughed when those songs played on the LOT8s.

Hmm, tough one... the use of Michael Jackson music during his funeral procession last summer is definitely up there though...

That was defiantly one of the best songs to me, my worst was Danger Man by The HelleCasters

Just That by Jay Soto and Brighter Days by Brian Hughes...

Brighter Days was aired constantly between July and October 2007, and then it just seemed to alternate with Just That in September/October as the only two songs played.

I do think it was awkward and unusual for TWC to play "Billie Jean" on the LOT8s, but at least that day was his "funeral" day.

I hated both those songs, Felix, lol. I would have to say it was awkward to hear Billie Jean play on the LF, especially since I never have cared for any of MJ's music, but I do think hearing vocal music on the LF is a refreshing change of pace (like I always say :P ).

My worst songs would have to be:
"Find Your Way Home" by Criag Chaquico (Mar/Apr, and again in Apr/May)
"Blue Horizons" by Chris Geith (February)
"Rattle and Burn" by Jesse Cook (June)
"Ingots" by Kaki King (that song was irritating beyond all belief lol)
"Escapade" by Armik
"The Heart is a Lonely Hunter" by Thievery Corporation (I do like their song "Liberation Front")
"Stone Groove" by BJ and JS (hate those artists now)
"Frankenstein" Edgar Winter
"Signe" by Eric Clapton
"Do You Wanna Dance" by The Beach Boys
"The Lineman" by Sam Spence (about as repetitive as it gets)

This year was sort of mixed for me, and I had songs all over the spectrum. Some I really loved (*coughs* Terminal Frost), and some (listed above), I absolutely could not stand, and would either mute the TV or change the channel when I heard them.

That would be "Find Your Way Back". ;)

What Chuck said and The entire September playlist...
Definitely agree with September, probably the worst of all the months this year. I liked all of daytime and most of the morning playlist, but primetime and overnight were awful (except for Frankenstein, For Love, and No Exit Strategy).
