Has anyone seen this Localonthe8s Summer Intro yet? :dunno: I recorded this last night, but I saw it for the first time Sunday Morning.

I would think it's almost a little too late to be debuting new summer LOT8s intros, but it does beat seeing ones for WUWA and TWC - THE Hurricane Authority all the time.

Does any one know if the haze icon was ever shown on the XL? I always see it as '...under partly cloudy skies with some haze' with the partly cloudy icon shown.

No, I don't think the XL ever showed a haze icon. I do know the XL has narration that just says "under hazy skies." Not sure if you've heard it, but if not, here's a video if it:

My IntelliStar is using the built-in playlist again. At 1:28 PM ET, I heard "Deux Cafe" by Brian Hughes instead of Layla.

If only the two DBS STARs did that. :hmm:

I played one of my Chincoteague 4000 videos in Media Player classic, and here's a snapshot I took of the 4000 when it first boots up!

Odd, they played the "normal" K flavor at 9:48 instead of the one with the traffic products in the beginning.

Also, at 7:48, a one minute flavor played.

I don't understand this, but the DBS IntelliSTAR (as I call it) displays the normal "LOT8s Logo" unless there's a sponsor for that LF during the live WUWA, but on the 10 AM rebroadcast, it shows the WUWA Logos.

Looks like Shane posted another Tampa IS video:

If you go to the description, you'll see he says "One of the longest one's i have seen in awhile, more traffic is shown than i have ever seen.", I'm not sure what he means by that. :dunno:
