Weather radio has now gone off for the *fifth* time today.  Two watches, three warnings.

Being in a moderate risk from SPC will give you days like that.  Be careful, Matt!

Hmmm, these obs can't be right (except for Tampa). Just look at the sky conditions.

I've gone off on a journey to be a moderator at another forum, but this place will forever remain home for me~

Try sending it to Weather Center. So long as you send it in before 7 PM EDT, you are most likely to see it on air.

I don't see anything odd right there.  If you're talking about the "Clear" being listed, it's always been like that, day or night. That's how it was on the real 4000 (except during its early years I think).

Now I see the purpose of that flash flood warning. Apparently I-80 is flooded causing a massive backup. And all that is coming my way.

My area is under a tornado warning again. My dad went out to record the siren at the Municipal Building and possibly chase the tornado (if there is one)

Tampa is reporting Partly Cloudy in that image, and MacDill AFB, 5 miles to the southeast, is reporting clear.

An automated sensor will only look straight up at the sky to check for clouds, so it can't see the horizon.  It's possible that a cloud layer is being seen directly overhead of Tampa that doesn't extend over MacDill AFB.  I know if clouds are high enough that the automated sensors cannot see them at all.

I recently had my video with "Miss Libby" by Michael Ripoll, and my most popular video (the XL emulator with the storm alert theme) disabled. :(
