I really want a 100+ degree temp!
I only experienced 100+ degree temps once in August 2006 when I was actually in Imperial County, CA (Yes Ana, I drove by Duck Centro on I-8 while on my way to the L.A. area) and it wasn't all that bad. Our Uplander (which we no longer have) said it was 107 when we stopped at a rest stop just past Yuma, and then I saw my first deserts ever!

You should have stopped by and said hi!!!
Sorry, it was about a year and a half before I even got started on youtube  :hmm:
Don't worry, I would have had I know you then

I remember August 2006 was the hottest August in my record. 2007 reached 121 degrees when I was a senior at Brawley High. Since now the temps are pretty much cooler than expected...I expect this summer to be cooler than average.  :noexpression:
Well, sunspot activity is at a minimum this year, so no one can expect any real major or widespread heat waves this summer.  <_< Ask Patrick if you have any more questions about this, as he is much more on top of it.

Oh I remember that August. It was 102 in Queens that day. On July 17th, the temp reached 101 and the night temp dropped to 89 ..even with a strong tstorm (which was quite an experience for me). 2007 was hot but not as bad as 06. I remember it was in the late 90s while the South reached temps in the upper 100s.

I don't think I should give out my IM screen names on Youtube anymore. A person who claims to have subscribed to me on Youtube added me on Skype, and I asked them if I knew them, and their reply was no. :noexpression:

Yeah, I don't recommend giving that kind of information out on popular sites like YouTube, or pretty much anywhere else publicly.

I am very careful to who adds me on AIM, FB, Myspace, Twitter, and other stuff. If I know you (either on TWCT or somewhere) I will accept. If not. I simply reject and probably block. I have done this several times.

Stormy weather here earlier this evening. Where I am we had hail to the size of half dollars, 60+ mph wind gusts, frequent cloud to ground lightning (several trees were struck), torrential rains and flooding. We actually were without power for a couple of hours. About 10 minutes to the north there was a funnel cloud spotted. The NWS is going to send a team up here tomorrow to determine if the funnel actually touched down.

Scary for sure. But its the kind of weather I live for.  :D :P

Yeah, that certainly sounds interesting to me!  :thrilled:  :D

I can actually see your area to the right of the TWC Logo on my sat/rad, Gary, and that did look like a nasty line. Fast moving too!

Using Firefox.. :P

It's just that I'm working on my portfolio site and IE6 doesn't like side by side divs and it was throwing off my site and IE6 should just burn in hell.

IE6 sucks.

Of course it does, IE 8 isn't too bad, but it's still IE. Firefox is good, but the new Safari 4 has been amazing. I was worried because the beta was really buggy and crashed ALL the time!
