When I first saw your AIM message about "grandmommy", I was a little confused until I checked Twitter and here. :P

You can all call me a grandmommy now. (but the kittens are not here yet!) My future hubby Adam is the granddaddy and Jesse has been chosen to become the uncle.

Right now she went back to her basket and I am seeing a different sign, too, she is also constantly licking. I won't be online as normal due to this because she doesn't want me to leave her. (I am also babysitting two brats as well. <_<)

I hate dogs, and I could get into a really heated discussion as to why cats are SOOOO much better. :D

Cats are good until they start urinating on the basement floor, and you take them to the vet, try what they say, and it still doesn't stop.  I prefer dogs because they're more trainable, but everyone prefers their own, and I understand why some like cats.

I can say that my cat has never done ANYTHING like that. It's important to remember, that all animals are individual, just as people are individual. Also, there are different "quirks" or problems associated with the various breeds, as I'm sure is the case with dogs too.

Agreed with Gil.    Every cat is different and it has their own special ways. Same with dogs.

Yes, the dog we have now is a pretty good dog, but the dog we had when I lived with my parents (same breed actually) wasn't that great of one.  But this may also just be personal bias because this is more of me and my wife's own dog, maybe she's not any better than he was.

I need money for my macbook. I do have some funds, though.

Progress: $10 out of $990 (that's student pricing with iWork.)

I'll buy that too. I prefer cats over dogs, especially because of the Great Dane we have, but I would be okay with a medium sized dog, since I like to walk dogs every now and then  I have two cats, and I hav had them both since shortly after the May 2007 Vocal Nite.  :)
