Yes, it very well could be interfering.
OK. I guess we'll move it and see what happens.

The cordless phones could still be interfering too. As can TV's, microwaves, cell phones, and any other signal emitting device.

Well, it's not near any cordless phone, so that's not the problem.

It's near a TV, not near a microwave, and near a cell phone.

Wow Dan, that's not very good for a DSL connection.

This is the plan that I have.  Is it really that bad?

Well it took me right to the ATT home page, not to a plan, so I really can't say much in regards to the plan. But yes, generally speaking that's a pretty bad connection speed for DSL.

The TV and cell phone are suspect.

Well, it looks like the heart monitor WAS the culprit. My mom unplugged it, and so far the internet has been staying up.

Yep the smallest of things can cause the biggest of problems.  :D

Of course, don't blame me if your mother has a heart attack or something.  :D :rofl2:

I did another speed test, after unplugging the heart monitor:

Around 8 mb/s download speed, and 535 kb/s for upload speed. :w00t:

Oh yea, that link wouldn't have worked.  Bottom line is, I'm paying $20 a month for 1500 kbps.

Well, your paying a reasonable price. I get roughly double the speed and pay roughly double. So your not paying too much but DSL is capable of giving you better speeds than that.

Actually, I just noticed, that they have a package that is $25 a month for 3.0 Mbps! :o
