Hmm... I wonder if some upgrade was sent to my cable box. I noticed that when I start my cable box, it now starts at the channel I last watched before I turned the box off, instead of always starting on channel 8. This is odd. I never changed the settings, nor did I know this feature was available before. :unsure:

Anyone else had this happen to their box?

Comcast has done this in other areas as well. Seems they're shifting away from pushing the CN8 brand since the network was reformatted.

Odd. I wouldn't think they would even send such an update to their older boxes, such as the Scientific Atlanta ones that my headend in Audubon has.

I have a Scientific Atlanta cable box as well, and it does have the option to change the power on channel. :yes:
