I had one of those dreams again...

This time the IntelliStar had a green warning crawl for flood/flash flood watches and warnings.

Well I'm in the hotel and the wirless connection is EXTREMEMLY SLOW. I'm also upset my hotel uses DISH Network. <_<

I don't see the point of recording my local forecast there :no:

Plus it's DISH, IDK if the wall cable will work since satellite tv is different.

Just hook your VCR to the satellite box, not the cable from the wall...

VCR? I don't have a VCR.

Anyways I'll record it. I'm using the cable from the wall to tv. All i need to do is just disconnect the cable that goes to the tv and connect it to tuner right?

That's what I will do when I record at the hotels. I also plan on bringing an extra coaxial cable and a splitter in case my dad or brother wants to watch TV while I'm recording. But I'm not sure if it will work or not because of the weird configurations hotel TVs often have.

I always thought hooking up to cable box was easier. It is for me. I just have to hook up coaxial, and i get video right away. Then change channels via remote. For the wall, I have to have ALL channels scanned then I have to change the channels via the tuner and it's a bit complicated but feasible

BTW, what TV Tuner card do you have CE?
