I have satellite too but I didn't know he could view TWC. I guess it has somthing to do with his job.

No Vic. You get channels from the satellite floating out in space. its indiscriminate of where you live or what job you have.

I used to have a DirectTV and Dish Network subscription while I was in Atlanta, I brought my receivers up to Canada and let the subscription run out... I am now with a Canadian cable company, however to get TWC I have to ither re-activate my DirecTV / Dish Network subscrption, or get it the way I am now, which is directly off of AMC 14, the same satellite that the STARs pull the signal from.

  OR 10 MILES EAST OF PARKVILLE...MOVING NORTHWEST AT 27 MPH.

* THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR...
  CODORUS AROUND 650 PM EDT...
  SPRING GROVE AROUND 705 PM EDT...
  THOMASVILLE AROUND 710 PM EDT...

THIS WILL ALSO IMPACT THE FOLLOWING MAJOR ROADS.

WHEN A TORNADO WARNING IS ISSUED BASED ON DOPPLER RADAR...IT MEANS
THAT STRONG ROTATION HAS BEEN DETECTED IN THE STORM. A TORNADO MAY
ALREADY BE ON THE GROUND...OR IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP SHORTLY.
