I've always had Good Friday off. It was also ironic that it was a "staff in-service" day when I went to high school before.

We always have Good Friday off here.

Our spring break always begins on Good Friday, and runs through the following week after Easter.

This year's spring break: Today through May 1.

That's how it usually is here, however this year we are having it the week before Easter because of how late the holiday falls.
