Whew! My powerpoint and project for AP European History bumped me up to an A in that class! I am [now] happy with it :) Btw Office 2010 rocks!

LOVE Office 2010. :)
I started using it a while back in its early form and have really warmed up to it. I can't go back to 07. I am FINALLY glad to have web saving with the cloud built right in. Makes life so much easier :D

I still have Office '03 on my desktop. I never upgraded to '07 after trying it at my school and realized how confusing everything is set up, especially the lack of menus and how everything's in "tabs." Plus certain themes you have set on your desktop don't apply to the new Office. I guess I should upgrade anyway though, lol.

Office 2010 ftw... very lightweight and more simpler than that crappy 2007 version.

I still have Office 2003 at home, too. Office 2007 is installed at my school, and it is VERY CONFUSING!  I trust that Office 2010 is much better. :) I wonder if the transition from 2003 to 2010 would be overwhelming...

Any change from 03 will be a big step but now that there is something new I think its a worth a go to adopt it! 2010 revises and improves some of the flaws of 2007. Its much cleaner and easier to navigate imo. If you held off from 2007, 2010 is a must! :)

Unfortunately, I got 2007 with my new laptop, and it does take a lot more searching to find things compared to 2003.  I guess I'll have to think about 2010 already if I get too fed up about it.

You can also try docs.com I love that site too. Microsoft did a decent job making web versions of Office

2010 is great... but I've just had to many memories with 2003 :bleh: But Office 2010 is great. Now if they would make one compatible with OS X so I could run it on this machine (2010 is on my other ones for Windows :P )

Office 2007 has a very steep learning curve, but it great.

So AT&T is making new data plans for the iPhone, and I'm saving $15/month!

however, current subscribers of AT&T have that option to keep the unlimited data plan, something i'll be taking advantage of. i use a lot of data, and I, for one...would not want to get an overpriced bill than what I am already getting. actually, i think the amount i'm paying is fair. so i'll be sticking to the unlimited data plan. lets just say, i don't like "limitations", the sky is the limit to me  :P

Office 2007 has themes. Just go to the Office button, hit "__________ Options" and it'll be on the first page that comes up.

And to be honest, I find the tabs to be neater. You don't have as much clutter.

Anyway, I wrote an overview of the May 8, 2009 derecho on a page in my blog. (If you want to read the huge ramble, click on "Derecho" to the right of the header.) I didn't feel it fit in any weather boards, as it's nowhere near current. I've been planning to do this for a long time but have always gotten stuck and restarted. I finally have the text part done, but I'm wanting to add images to it now. It's still a work in progress.

Not sure if this is the right place to post (my apologies if it isn't) but I can't wait for Hurricane Season to start! I'm very interested to see how TWC's Storm Alert will be for this year.

It already has...unless you're saying you can't wait for a hurricane to actually hit so we can have Storm Alert. :P
