well, sadly tomorrow is "prep" day at our school...were we are assigned lockers, get our books and our finalized schedules. Monday is the official start of the school year, however some students (such as myself) attended the school today to help teachers unpack their junk they hang up on walls and what not. I was there with a few friends from 10:15 through 4:00, one of my friends was even there from 9:30 to 4  :frantic:.

so there was my day! haha.

Hey everyone. It's been a while since I've been online. To make a very long story short, my college has some IMO stupid security measures built into the network, and you have to install some special software to access the network. My computer's OS was not compatible with that software, so I was not able to get online. I took my PC to the IT staff to work on it on Tuesday, and I still haven't gotten it back. Right now, my roommate is letting me use his computer.

I'm actually not surprised to hear this. Most college's are strictly enforcing such security measures, mainly because they are very much against the use of file sharing programs. And so in that sense what they do actually makes a bit of sense. File sharing drains alot of bandwidth-that bandwidth then is taken away from others on campus who wish to use the network. You can see where I'm going with this. Its about sharing with everybody, instead of having a few folks eat all the bandwidth with file sharing and such.

The IntelliStar. There is no actual college cable system. They have Comcast.
