Back in high school most people just called me Petree because there were so many Kyles, plus I think they just liked my last name better.
lol, It reminds me of Peachtree City in Atlanta. I like your last name though. There are tons of Kyles in my school as well.
Same here. At least 2 Kyles I know of in my class (grade) alone. But anyway, I am always referred to by my last name. I haven't been called Aaron more than twice this past year, lol.

Good Luck, Al!
My first day of college is on Monday.  I am going to a community college for 2 yrs, and I can say that I am excited, so I can only imagine how people who are going away are (with mixed feelings).
And yes, Ana hit the nail on the head when it comes to senior year..do what you can while you can. ;)

I had a surprising good week today. Earlier in the morning, I took my written test for a student permit and passed it. Now I am going to practice supervised driving which is making me nervous. :hmm:

Thanks Derek! B) Yeah- NJ driving laws are one of the strictest in the US. I won't be able to get a provisional license until I'm 17

In PA, you can get a restricted license when you're 16 and a half, so I could have gotten it as early as 7/12/08 (six months after I got my learner's permit). But I ended up not getting it until this past June.

Wow, I totally forgot about how the laws differ from state to state. You can get a provisional license here when you're 16.
I'm not sure exactly how they do the driving instruction over there, but I recommend getting the feel for driving before you see the instructor. At least with me, they put me on the road within 5 minutes

I am going for my first on-the-road practice schedule with the instructor sometime in the weekend. I'm scared I might crash into something :P

Have fun driving!  It is exciting at first, but after driving for a while, it gets old and boring lol.
--
I wrote a letter to a local tv station a while ago, and finally got a reply in my email. Basically, I was telling them I was interested in "getting my foot in the door", and getting a part-time job at the news station.  I got a reply from someone, and he said he liked my interest (I basically told him my life story :P), and he said if I filled out an application and a resume, that he would "highly consider" me for the job :D  I am SOO Excited.  Tomorrow will mark 2 years working in fast food, and i am SOO ready to leave !!
