Drama better not start here. Because I already dealt with stupid drama at the field as well. So, Tavores, Jonny (mainly @ Jonny), shut it or suffer the consenquences. :club:

Okay...anyways...after a week of moving to a field so far away...we lost one game on the double header. On the 2nd game, Leslie, the Thriller's catcher, and Angelic, the Thriller's 3rd basegirl fought each other during the transition of 4th and 5th inning. My coach got mad at both, and suspended both from Thursday's Hot Shots game. I am friends with all of my teammates BUT Angelic. She is so aggrevating, and she is the one that caused the fight to start. We won the 2nd game BTW. Oh and the Angels remain undefeated  <_<

I got mah uniform today and it's now my TWCT avatar. I posted a picture here for a better close up:

One of you said it doesn't matter if it is hot, because the school day is spent 90% in school.  THAT's WORSE!  A lot of schools do NOT have any air conditioning.  There have been times where the teachers would have us sit on the floor, with fans on and lights off.  It is miserable, and hard to learn.  So, I would definitely have enjoyed starting school after Labor Day.  But, I never minded starting in mid-late August, because as mentioned, it gets out out even earlier.

Either way, you are going to deal with heat, because if you go in Early September, you'll have to stay into June.

So that's probably the reason why schools in the NE start after Labor Day, because many probably don't have air conditioning. ;) But I'm pretty sure that most, if not all, schools in the south have A/C, so the heat really shouldn't matter (except for those who have to walk).

Either way, you are going to deal with heat, because if you go in Early September, you'll have to stay into June.

That's a good point. For one thing, heat doesn't tend to die down here until mid to late September, and I'm sure schools wouldn't want to start that late. And in addition to what Kyle said, June is a hot month as well. So either way, you're going to have to deal with the heat. ;)

Someone explain this statement to me, because it makes absolutely no sense.

"There is a compatibility issue with Internet Explorer 8. We recommend that you always use Mozilla Firefox as your web browser, unless you are on a Vista, then it is recommended that you use Internet Explorer 7."

Internet Explorer 8 has some significant changes over 7 within the coding that caused a bunch of websites to not show properly.  Microsoft even put a compatibility button on 8's toolbar that you can click to view websites back in 7's settings.  Firefox has almost always been fine for me when viewing websites.  I'm on XP, however, so I don't know why Vista makes Firefox more problematic.

Wow, what is up with the drama fests that have been happening the past couple days?
No kidding. I guess the heat is making everyone moody.

I missed it. It was behind me during the 2nd game.

I couldn't see anything because it was too cloudy with a storm in the area. <_<

The GFS model for the period of 8/22-8/24 looks interesting, It's bringing some kind of Tropical System into the Northeast, I'm not sure whether it's TD 2 or that (as described by Accuwx's Henry Margusity) "Monsterous" Wave off of Africa, though. So if you live in the Northeast, keep an eye to the tropics.

It's possible the file is too large and the server is rejecting it.

12.1 MB, about a 30 second clip. i figured that was a fair file size.
