Got 768K DSL in 2003, and we still have that same plan today. When will my parents ever upgrade their DSL plans? :thumbdown:

Well I have 12 mbps cable internet, I just use aol as email, not as their shitty dial up service. Like Suddenlink says: "Easy is, getting super fast downloads." but I have to say this; Hard is, getting super fast uploads. Suddenlink only averages about 0.63 mbps for upload  :hmm: .
Also, Zach called me on skype while I was playing sl and skype crashed and gave me these 3 error messages (in order):

Josh I though it was 10?

Oh i remember the glory days of dial up. That was fun. I was ready to kill whoever thought it was a good idea to make the speaker on those damn modems so loud! :P

Now I have 20mbps down 3 up

Well, I once connected to my computer via usb (and when you do, it connects you to the internet if you have the drivers) and the network status said 12 (and thats the total bandwith, I thought it was 8 because thats what the site offered. I wish cox wasnt bought out by suddenlink here, than maybe we would have internet as fast as yours. 0.63 mbps average upload my  :censored:

Also, what do you think those error messages I got mean?

Yeah, I remember those days too. We have had several ISPs, including AOL, Juno (both Dial-Up and I still use a Juno email address), and AT&T. We have had Comcast for a number of years now. I have seen ads on TV from Comcast saying that they will increase internet speed to 50 mbps free of charge for all subscribers. I also have yet to see that happen. I'm thinking about calling Comcast and seeing if that will actually happen.

I used to have AOL. it sucked. Especially the part I couldnt make a call while I was online.  <_<

Well, I was looking through VHS tapes today, and I found one with like three hours of TWC on it, so I looked through the LFs, and found "For Real" by Jim Lum on one of them. :o

So then I recorded it to my computer with my Pinnacle tuner, and here it is. :)

I just tried twice to make a comment on the channel of the user alextheman6 on youtube, but the "Post Comment" button changed to undefined, and it took me to youtube.com/profile which ended up being my channel.

Anybody else getting this? It's really annoying.
