I don't. Too expensive down here.

Although I really want to invest in one.

I'm looking into getting the SlingBox solo. Does it stream 1080i HD through component video and can I output it to the TV since our box only has one set of component video jacks? Can't use HDMI because we have a rear-projection TV. :hmm:

I have a SlingBox SOLO. Yes it can stream 1080i HD, as I do it with my TIVO. It does not do it in true HD though, as for a security measure, it scales the HD picture down significantly, but keeps it in the 16:9 ratio, hence why my screen caps are somewhat blurryish.

I don't own one but my friend bought one that he never used, I found it in his basement one day and borrowed it (that was months ago). This one is an older SD only box. One of these days I'll get a Solo. Anyway, I love it, I always have the news or something on while I'm at work, thankfully nobody cares :P

I <3 my slingbox. I nearly had it gone last September but found it from my attic and reinstalled it. Zach, it's really not expensive. Most internal TV Tuners cost more than a slingbox which is around $100-$120 depending on the model.

That's understandable. I just want it to do 16:9 so if I post screenshots of TWC HD I won't have to do any photo stretching.

Highly unlikely. If you want to use the slingbox to record TWC, then this is NOT the device for you. The recorder produces a crappy quality recording and to buy the full Slingcorder program you need to pay $30 yearly

I don't have one but...

http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/ -- I want to get one of these, as you can use Windows Media Encoder or any other TV tuner standard program with the added awesomeness of HDMI and Component!
